Megan will be making (radio) waves in her next project:
For the first time ever, Playing on Air, public radio’s showcase for contemporary short plays, is recording in front of a live audience – you! Broadcast across the nation, the show brings a mix of short works written and performed by Tony-, Pulitzer- and Emmy-Award winning theater artists, as well as emerging talents. Be part of the live audience at BRIC House to get up close with some of NYC’s most celebrated playwrights and performers, ask questions, and witness the making of this unique public radio program.
This evenings readings will include:
- Acorn by David Graziano: A story of underwear and romance, hung out on a Brooklyn clothesline.*
- Peep by Alexandra Gersten-Vassilaros: Over People magazine, a Faustian bargain, in the emergency room.
- Crazy Eights by David Lindsay-Abaire: An intruder makes a late night house call – or is it a date?
Featuring Bobby Cannavale, Michael Chernus, John Leguizamo, Bobby Moreno, Rosie Perez, Nilaja Sun, and Megan Tusing.*
There will be a brief interview with playwright, director and cast after each play, moderated by Claudia Catania
