Meet your coach
Hi, I'm Megan! I’m an actor, audiobook narrator, producer and coach based in NYC with 19+ years of experience in performing arts and over 450+ audiobooks under my belt. Using a unique blend of performance and business coaching I help my clients gain clarity, set realistic goals, and develop actionable plans to overcome obstacles. My mission is to light you up and light the way to a successful and thriving audiobook narration career.
Why I Created This Workshop
When I first started out in audiobook narration, my goal was simple:
To build a sustainable career doing the work I loved.
Like most new narrators, I was focused on learning, growing, and getting my foot in the door. I said yes to every opportunity that came my way because I wanted experience, I wanted to improve, and honestly, I wasn't yet sure how to shape the career I envisioned for myself.
And for a while, that approach served me well.
But eventually, I hit a wall.
I was recording long hours and taking on project after project, yet I didn't feel fulfilled. I wasn't booking the kinds of books I dreamed of narrating. I knew I had grown as a performer, but my career wasn't evolving in the direction I wanted. I felt stuck, unsure how to move from simply working to intentionally building the career I wanted.
Then I realized something simple but powerful:
People can’t cast you if they don’t know what you can do or what you want to do.
Once I started choosing sample material with intention, selecting pieces that showcased my strengths and reflected the genres I genuinely wanted to narrate, everything began to shift. My samples weren't just demonstrating my skills anymore. They were telling casting professionals exactly who I was as a narrator and where I belonged.
That's why I created this workshop.
Because I know what it's like to feel capable but directionless. To know you have more to offer but not know how to communicate it. And I know how empowering it is to take control of the story your samples tell.
This workshop Is designed to help you create samples that not only showcase your talent, but also communicate your strengths, your goals, and the work you want to be hired to do, so you can build your career with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.
