Meet your coach
Hi, I'm Megan! I’m an actor, audiobook narrator, producer and coach based in NYC with 18+ years of experience in performing arts and over 400 audiobooks under my belt. Using a unique blend of performance and business coaching I help my clients gain clarity, set realistic goals, and develop actionable plans to overcome obstacles. My mission is to light you up and light the way to a successful and thriving audiobook narration career.
Why I Created This Workshop
When I first started out in audiobook narration, I was focused on one thing:
Getting my foot in the door and making a living.
That meant saying yes to anything that came my way—whether or not the material lit me up or reflected the kinds of stories I truly wanted to tell. I was just trying to prove myself, get experience, and keep the work coming in.
And it worked—for a while. But eventually, I hit a wall.
I was recording long hours, taking on project after project, and yet… I didn’t feel fulfilled. I wasn’t booking the kinds of books I longed to narrate. I was burning out. Stuck in a rut. Wondering how, after all this time and effort, I still didn’t feel aligned with the work I was doing.
I didn’t know how to change direction—how to stop just taking whatever showed up, and instead start steering my career toward the kind of work that felt meaningful.
The turning point came when I realized something simple but powerful:
People can’t cast you if they don’t know what you can do—or what you want to do.
Once I started choosing sample material with intention—picking pieces that showed off my strengths and aligned with the genres I loved—I saw a shift. My samples started working for me. I wasn’t just demonstrating skill; I was telling casting pros, “Hey, this is what I do best, and this is where I belong.”
That’s why I created this workshop. Because I know the frustration of feeling stuck, unseen, or miscast. And I know how empowering it is to take control of the story you're telling with your samples.
This workshop is my way of giving you the tools I wish I had earlier—so you can stop waiting and start directing your career with clarity and confidence.
